Southern Utah Volleyball Academy is a competitive volleyball program dedicated to advancing the personal and athletic development of each individual member.  SUVA offers girls volleyball competition teams that compete regionally and nationally throughout the calendar year. Ages represented in the club range from 10 to 18 years old. It is the philosophy of SUVA to teach the basic fundamental skills of the game and instill work ethic and competitive spirit in each girl. In doing so, we aim to create a positive team atmosphere in which each individual will thrive. It is our goal to prepare our athletes to compete at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. Our coaching staff represents experience at all levels named above. As a whole, we will make every possible effort to assist each member in reaching their individual volleyball goals.   Our staff is really looking forward to the upcoming season. They will devote 100% of their time and effort to our program and their individual team. We require that same amount of commitment and effort from our athletes. We are looking for the player who is committed to reaching her potential and who is willing to work hard to achieve this. Although it improves each year, we continue to have issues with commitment. IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON PLAYING FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN. Quitting the team because you have other obligations is unfair to those girls that want to play and are committed for the entire season. In addition, you will be responsible for any remaining balance on your account as found in the Parent Code of Conduct. We understand that young people are being pulled many different directions and are very sensitive to this fact. This is why we are letting you know what our expectations are before the season starts. We encourage all to play but expect that once you sign up, you are making a commitment for the duration of the season.
